Swanky Rags started in 2006 and after 3 successful years in Broadway Peterborough we needed to expand. So in late 2009 we relocated to a more spacious premises with our own private access, but still in Broadway. Which is where you can find us today, above Fireaway Pizza, opposite The New Theatre Peterborough.
We offer a unique collection of gowns, they are all very different from the high street. We aim to bring you fresh, new looks each season, with an emphasis on luxurious fabrics, stunning hand bead work and excellent designs, all at surprisingly reasonable prices.
There are always at least 200 dresses in stock all year round, from sizes 0 – 30+ all styles, all colours and a lot more choice than any other local store.

Our customers come from all over, we have dressed beautiful ladies from Peterborough, Stamford, Whittlesey, Crowland, Thorney, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Spalding, Boston, Bourne, Market Deeping infact from every village and every town local to us, but also from as far a field as Wales, Ireland, Scotland and USA.

Buying that dress of your dreams just got easier.
Dresses On The Shop Floor:
If the dress is from the shop floor then a deposit of 50% is needed and we will remove that dress off the shop floor and reserve it for you.
Dresses Ordered In:
To order your dress in a different colour or size, a minimum deposit of 50% of the cost of the dress is required.
Bridal Dresses Off The Peg:
.If the dress is from the shop floor then a deposit of 50% is needed and we will remove that dress off the shop floor and reserve it for you
Special orders:
50% of the cost of your wedding dress is all we need to order the dress of your choice in your chosen colour and size.
