Covid-19 Purchase Policy

A Member of Swanky rags will be in contact with you and we have 3 options open to you for customers who paid deposits and reserved dresses from our shop floor which are being HELD in our store area:

1 – PAY FOR AND COLLECT YOUR DRESS
2 – EXTRA TIME TO PAY
3 – CANCEL PURCHASE

1. PAY FOR AND COLLECT YOUR DRESS – To make an appointment to collect please email sales@swankyrags.co.uk or after 10am on 16/6/20 you can call 01733 345181 leave a message and we will get back to you ASAP.

Please have your paperwork to hand.
You will be unable to collect your dress without your receipt.

2. EXTRA TIME TO PAY – We are offering a further 2 months to pay for your dress, after the original date of function as on your contract/deposit receipt if no new wear date has been arranged.

If a new date has been arranged please provide proof and we can amend the date of function, in the contract to the new wear date.

3. CANCEL PURCHASE – Regretfully we are unable to offer refunds as per contract, however if you choose to cancel your purchase you will no longer have to pay the balance owed on the dress but will lose all monies already paid as explained on your original contract.

If you have special ordered a dress with us:

We place all our special orders immediately with our suppliers, and advise you of an estimated date of arrival. To date, all dresses have successfully been delivered to the shop and are being safely stored. When future deliveries arrive in-store, we will contact you directly.

Again, we will be offering a further 2 months for you to collect and pay for your item after the original date of function as on your contract/ deposit receipt if no new wear date has been arranged.

If a new date has been arranged please provide proof and we can amend the date of function, in the contract to the new date.

Seamstress appointments:

All alterations will be completed once the dress has been paid for in full ONLY.

Any dress that was pinned and was paid for in-full has been altered and awaiting to arrange the next appointment. Please contact the shop to arrange an appointment.

Any dress pinned but not paid for in full, require full payment in order for the alterations to go ahead.

The seamstress is due to start new alteration fittings after 1/07/20 due to the contact the customer and seamstress may have. Extra safety measures will be in place and explained at the time of the booking.

For appointments missed whilst we were closed and including appointments booked up to 01/07/2020 please rebook these. For appointments after 01/07/20 we ask that you re-confirm this booking, we will be in contact.

For any urgent fittings please contact the shop ASAP. Extra safety measures will be in place
